The Trinity Pacific Christian School Crowns are celebrating a big win in Dallas last month. The Big South Regional is one of three regional tournaments that are part of the National Christian Homeschool Basketball Championships (https://www.nchclive.com). Last year, the Crowns were the #1 team in division 1. This year the varsity team moved up to division 2 and won all three games to claim the D2 title.
Micah S. was named MVP, averaging 26 points per game. Kiernan S. also scored high, averaging 14 points per game. Nolan B. led the defense this tournament and shut down the point guards on the teams, while Isaac M. hit two clutch 3 points in the 4th quarter of the semi-final game helping the Crowns come back from being down 5 points late in the game to win.
The team will be traveling to Springfield, Missouri this week to compete in the national championship.
