Mock Trial Team Wins County!

Updated: Apr 7, 2018

It was 18 years in the making, but Trinity Pacific Christian School's mock trial team has won the Ventura county competition and is heading to the state tournament this weekend!

Despite winning numerous state- and national-level invitational tournaments, Trinity had never won the county competition, losing on more than one occasion by less than one percentage point.

At the awards ceremony last Monday night, TPCS students also won three individual awards:

Morgan Devico (3rd place defense pretrial attorney)

Jeremy Judd (2nd place defense trial attorney)

Ethan Castanon (1st place witness Tory Lee)

Trinity Pacific Christian School's Junior Varsity team placed 10th (out of 34 teams).

Students are working hard to perfect their performances and are very excited to represent TPCS and Ventura County at the state competition, which will be held this weekend in Santa Ana.
