A team of 13 TPCS students traveled to Chicago to compete at their first in-person mock trial competition since COVID! The Empire Mock Trial Tournament featured 20 competitive teams from across the US.
The students who competed were Jena A., Jacob C. Grace D., Ava E., Valerie F., Ella J., Matthew N., Lirah P., James S., Thomas S., Ashlyn T., Kamryn T., and John W.
Jacob C. was recognized with a second place outstanding witness award!
The students enjoyed sightseeing and eating great food in Chicago before the tournament began. They gave it their best and missed advancing to the championship round by one point! They ended up placing third overall.
