This fall our youngest students showed off their volcanic creations at a fun day in the park. Students age 4-8 brought a volcano they had built out of a variety of mediums, including papier-mache, glass bottles, playdough, and salt dough. Each took turns watching their volcano erupt, observing which method was most effective--baking soda and vinegar, diet soda & mentos, and other creative concoctions. It was such a fun way to combine art, creativity, science, and community!
